    We are hiring

    Junior WordPress plugin developer

We’re looking for a Junior WordPress plugin developer to help us with internal projects and client projects.

As part of our highly skilled DevOps team, you’ll focus on designing, developing, and maintaining plugins and web applications.

You excel in troubleshooting, (REST) API integrations, and developing plugins, while ensuring all code is clean, efficient, secure, and fully compliant with WordPress coding standards and best practices.

This position is for developers who code. You must be comfortable with PHP, JavaScript, CSS, MySQL, and Git, not someone who relies on page builders.

    Location: Remote
Hours: Full-time, 160 hours per month, with flexible scheduling
    Work type: Independent contractor

Independent contractor engagement, not employment. You handle your own tax and social security; no paid leave or severance. Exclusive engagement.

    What you will do

    • Design, develop, and maintain plugins and web applications.
    • Work closely with the lead developer and the team to integrate plugins and work on multiple projects at the same time.
    • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using modern development technologies.
    • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
    • 1 to 3 years of hands-on development experience.
    • Proficiency in front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end (PHP, MySQL, Linux/SSH).
    • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git).
    • Willing to work in a ticketed, documented, peer-reviewed way (ITIL-style service delivery, Agile ceremonies). We teach the process; what we need is that you work it.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, manage multiple projects, and communicate progress daily.
